It seems a bit needy and immature. If you get drunk you think about your ex and prank call her. Could make it seem like you are not over our ex.

i agree with caretaker...and you are showing that your not mature enough to cantrol yourself when you drink...plus your basically telling her to babysit you...not a good first impression in my opinion

To me this opener is DLV, you cant control yourself (to much alcohol) and you call your ex (sounds needy to me)

definately not a good opener...
only time i can see this being kinda ok is if you're already in set with a group and they're having fun and laughing AND DRINKING with you. and don't say ex gf - rather say "prank call girls i know". either way, i think this will only really go down when the girls are already drunk and young.

however, turning the tables -
you're in a set of girls who're having fun. they're drinking. all is festive.

Dont really like this opener because:

It implies that you cant handle yourself when drunk.

DLV with the neediness to "Always" call your Ex when drunk

Brings into question your ability to let things go (your ex)

don't listen to the ones that say its lame, immature. Its fun and its good. Not if you are 30, then its lame/immature. But if you are 18-22 or something its all good.
I would switch ex girlfriend to something else, like my old neighboor or something for more fun and for another reason - mentioning ex GF if not always good, females don't like talking about your ex GFs

And ref that "you can't control yourself when you drunk" - yeah if you are drunk you can't but thats not the point. When you say this line its funny line and you don't actually mean it, you just say it for the laughs.

Personally seems like a DLV to me, its immature to prank call your ex-g/f and when people are drunk they tend to do what they really want to. So if you're drunk and you really want to get back at her, then it just shows you're still not over her and that you're a needy guy.
