Last night whilst on the dancefloor me and a bunch of randoms were cycloning (put your hands together, hold them above your head and spin around, much fun). While we were doing this, I lost track of where people around me were and subsequently, accidently elbowed a girl in the back of the head, pretty hard.
Instantly I was like "oh shit i'm really really sorry, come to the bar I'll get you a drink" and just incase anyone says "never buy a girl a drink" i just hit the poor girl in the back of the head with my elbow, she's earnt one.

Then it hit me, without realising it I'd effectively just opened her (by hitting her in the head) and isolated her from the dancefloor/her friends and now have her to myself at the bar. 10 minutes and some speedy kino escalation later, I decided to go all cheesey (mainly for self-amusement, plus to see if it'd work) and told her to look into my eyes, held it for about 5 seconds (trying a little speed seduction here) then leant in, BOOM makeout.

Lets recap, 10minutes earlier I'd hit this girl in the head with my elbow, now I'm making out with her. If you can get a close with that, you should be able to get a close with anything lol.

Just incase there is some wise ass reading this, don't go around hitting people in the head it's bad manners.

good going on your "making out" and all.
I was just reading your post and couldn't help myself thinking, hey that is great but I bet if I had done the same thing the follwing would have gone down

i do the cycloning and bang HB-s head , she either tells me to fuck off or I apologise and she says OK, looking as if to say go fuck yourself or either way,
if I then proceed to ask her to come away and isolate to buy drink she would probably said no, cos I look try hard and her ASD cuts in.
I am five nights into my "training" and need to get some results. Jesus. I feel like I am just banging my head against a brick wall and I am starting to get a headache. anyway pleased to hear that you struck out ..good stuff.

It's all in the vibe mate. Of course it was lucky that she didn't go get some bouncer to batter me. If you go in intentionally hitting someone in the head then of course that's gonna happen. The thing was she could see it was a genuine accident, once we got passed the bit with me hitting her in the head and apologising it was just like any other sarge. I was very apologetic but made sure I quickly got her smiling/laughing etc essentially make her forget I just hit in the back of the head.

The point I was trying to make with this post was that some people get so uptight trying to think up perfect openers when in reality, something as stupid as accidently injuring someone can be the perfect opener. As I said before don't go around looking to do that but just try to take advantage of any situation as best you can because sometimes even if something seems absolutely diabolically terrible, it doesn't mean you can't flip it around.

EDIT: You mentioned about looking try hard if you offered her a drink. I'd like to add that when I offered her a drink I wasn't even sarging her, I'd have done the same thing for anyone in the room, it just happened to be that it was also the best way to go about getting an isolation in that situation.

Hi mate,

i get where you are coming from, like ya say, it is all in the vibe. She saw that it was unintentional and it worked.
. Last night I was out and about. I am at the newbie stage where you are there at the bar, seeing the babe and debating internally feeling awkward and then going over and running the line, secretly crapping yourself. I can run my opener and can eject and the babe thinks genuinely that I am OK so there is no feeling of being rejected so that for me is progress but now i want to go to the next stage. to create interest and actually have a conversation where I am just doing that to bait a bit.
