So, tonight I'm going to a sketchy pickup lines party. I've been to two or three, and in my experience there's not as many sketchy pickup lines being tossed around as you'd think. My question is: how should I approach this as a pua? As an afc I opened with sketchy pickup lines, but is this the best way for this kind of thing?

The opener is never really that important, just a way to engage a set. You probably don't even need a cheesy pick up line, just ask your next set what the sketchiest pick up line has been so far. If they have one, talk about how bad it is. If they don't have one, neg them for being uncreative and anti-social. Then just go in to your usual routine.

you can even just actually use a really sketchy pick up line with a really serious face....and then laugh or smile and tell her "i actually heard a guy use that before....and it wasn't at a party like this", then she'll be like "really?" or whatever, and then you can just go into talking about the ones she's heard that night or whatever like johny said.

If she's said that she hasn't heard any, you can just be like "oh no one tried one on you yet? Poor little girl....not a popular one are you? Man, I can't be seen with you, you're gonna bring my status down!" of course with a smile.... or any other neg you can spin off of this situation.
