So im in a situation and im kinda stuck as where to go from here. Any and all help would be appreciated. Please bear with me as this is a bit long winded.
So I met this girl on a political campaign, I was shamelessly trying to recruit her for a volunteer shift and got rejected. My response was something like”its ok, im used to cute girls making excuses.” I got an interesting giggle in response and that was that.
Then a few days later I got a text from her outta no where saying “hey this is June how r u?” blah blah blah and she says I better save her number. We flirt a bit for a couple of days only via text (all initiated by her). I asked her to grab a bite to eat in-between class. She said idk and explained she just got out of a bad relationship and wasn’t looking to date again.
My response was something like,” who said anything about dating, I thought u might be hungry. She stills says no and I say something like well hit me up next week.
I didn’t hear from her and didn’t expect to then about a week later she asked if I wanted to hang out with her and some friends. I said yes but I was busy. She asked if I’d like to go shopping but I was working g. sometime later she told me, again all through text. That she got back with her ex BF. I say ok well we can still be friends, sorry if I had the wrong idea.
Again I didn’t her from her, this time for almost a month and then get a text- hi, how r u? We chit chat a bit and she tells me to text her sometime.
The next day I get a text-“hey im drunk”. My phone was broken so I couldn’t respond. B this being the second drunken set of texts from her, I felt comfortable hitting her up the next day. She was drunk again this time she flirts a little more. Long story short she tells me thiers no more BF.
I don’t talk to her for a day or so and then I text her to see whats up, shes drunk again and then explains that shes dancing and that she can do nasty things and likes to get slutty on the dance floor. I’ve talked to her once since then.

My issue is this this deems positive but its also been way drawn out. Further more this is all via text it seems ungenuine. So what now?

It's pretty obvious you're nothing more than a piece of meat to her. I don't think she's genuinly interested. That whole deal with going back and forth with her boyfriend--does she have one or doesn't she? Sounds shady to me. I'd say try your luck elsewhere. There's definately better out there.

Also guys, be weary when a woman sends you a text saying she's drunk. Depending on the situation, it can be fun, but there's also a lot that can go wrong with texting drunk women. If you're going to talk to her drunk, get drunk with her and do it in person.
