I've tried this one out a few times and it's brilliant. Girls REALLY get into it.

For those that missed it, I'm currently working in Europe, where one of my jobs is to take photos in the bar for the bar website. This opener is an adapted version of one I saw Style had suggested.

"Hey guys, I've gotta go take more photos in the bar in a second, but you guys look kinda into fashion so I was wondering if I could get your opinion on something.

I have this friend back home who's like looking after my personal affairs while I'm overseas.. my mail and stuff like that, right?

Well, since Italy is like the fashion capital of the world, I thought I'd get her a present - something like a really nice cashmere sweater.

The problem is that I know she wears either a small or a medium and I don't know which to get. What do you guys think? I don't wanna get the wrong one."

Now.. if you can make it past "get her a present", you're doing well. Normaly I get interupted at this point and they go "omg omg get her a scarf!"

In fact, I've been finding that even when I make it to the end they'd be like "well, you'd get a medium because it's better to be bigger than too small - it might be a bit baggy but at least she can wear it. But what you SHOULD get her is a scarf, because then size doesn't matter"

I take it to mean that scarves are fashionable at the moment.

Even if you don't work in a bar in Europe, I'm sure you can adapt it to work any situation.

"hi love im taking photos for the website and we need people lookin in fashion as its italy, do u mind puttin this top on for ur picture?" and hand them something really nasty ahahaha that wouldnt work but wud be funny as hell, im sure u could adapt it to work
