I checked out a girl's profile on okcupid ...sent her a message referring to some stuff on her profile and said Hi ...later on I see her in my visitors but no message from her .... so I message her back :-

"So you check me out and dont even say a Hi? ....bad manners LOL"
(probably AFCish ..sorry ..atleast I get a response ) she replies
"Or I like to think before I respond?"

What should I reply next? I want to go to the next stage/engage her ..get her to talk ...I am a complete newbie to the online game ..hence this question.

Change the subject;simple as that.

No witty line needed.

You dont want to be dwelling on one subject which isnt gonna get the girl attracted nor engaged.

Your objective is to attract her.

So move on to another topic.

Pointing out that she visited your page and didn't say anything is a little creepy. It makes it seem as if you didn't have anything better to do than check who was visiting your page. Something to think about...

Try to leave out smiley faces and 'LOLs' in your messages. They can come across as AFCish if used to often and at the wrong time. Something else to think about...

As k-loc said, change the subject. You could have said something like 'don't blow a fuse' if you had some rapport already established, but at this point, move on to something else.
