I'm new to this website and the whole pickup thing, but since i got into it about a week ago, my head has been thinking about it nonstop (haven't practiced in field yet, matter of time though) but nevermind!!

The point is i had been checking out this really really gorgeous girl in school, and as i hadn't been able to build the guts to go up to her irl i decided to just poke her on facebook for fun, seeing what response i could get. She poked back after like 2 days and ofc i poked back. I think we poked like 5-6 times or something (since she answered my pokes, i just kept poking her back). Until one day when she actually wrote a message to me (On Facebook), and here's were i kind of would like to have your help abit, i think i did quite well.





G: Quit poking me already!

Me: Not as long as you're poking me

G: You started

Me: You answered

G: Haha touche, why did you poke me from the beginning?

Me: Just looked like you needed a poke that's all

G: haha and that means?

Me: well you'll have to think about that one

G: wtf... can't come up with anything, help me?

Me: Sorry, can't help you!

This was originally in Swedish so i tryed to translate it the best i could, but guys, it's quite obvious that she's giving me IOI's, where did i go wrong?

i think i rejected her to much right? there at the end? You think i could have gotten her number through this conversation? any examples of what i could have written instead, please post!!
(btw, i'm poking her again, haven't talked with her since that conversation about 2 months ago, all with the mentality " I don't care what the outcome is, let's just try", that one in itself has helped me alot)

Well, she was interested in your answer, she was intrigued by what could've been the reason behind suddenly poking her on your end.. and she bit the bait and even asked you about it.

And what do you do? You reply 4 times with nothing substantial and at the end, even she noticed you have nothing to say and was done with you as evident by the 'nvm' comment.

Here's some advice for the future : Don't say or do things, unless you have good reasons or stories to back them up.

You had a chance, she gave you more chances and you wasted this.

And do you think i regret it? YEAH I DO! -.- i guess we all do misstakes, the thing is how we cope with them, right?

I actually asked my sister for guidence doing that conversation with this HB8,5 really, don't think i'll do that again...

(damn me..) the main thing why i poked her in the first place was ofc: i was madly attracted to her. but i didn't want to tell her that right away because that would picture me as just some other guy who told her that she's hot and then she wouldn't respond no more (Which i guess was totally wrong, but i'm somewhat of a neewbie so it doesn't surprise me)
