I had an unusual experience today. I've been sending messages to girls, seeking feedback on my profile. The results have been 100% positive. Example Messages: *Applause*, You're too good to be true, etc. This resulted in two numbers and two meet ups. Then I went to the OkCupid forums to seek feedback, not only were the results almost 100% negative, people said things like; "I hope this is a joke...", "The fag", "You've got the charisma of a dead turtle", and "You probably have as much spine as a sea cucumber". While I think some of these are very funny, and I'm interested by the marine creature references, this does not make any sense. Check out the link. People said I was egotistical and defensive when the whole time, I was agreeing with what they were saying and asking for more of their opinion. The same people who were calling me an asshole were insulting me the whole time for no reason at all. They did get quiet though, when I pointed out their bullshit, correct me if I'm wrong/retarded or you think I was being an asshole. As I said a million times on that forum, I just want to know what you think. You should try this yourself, it's hilarious and kind of addictive, seeing what chronic forum posters post about your profile at 4 in the morning. I'm still not sure if I agree with some of them or not.

That is the funniest thing I've heard today, but someone who would would shit talk a random stranger for no reason at all probably isn't doing to well on OkCupid anyway. I just think the comments are funny.

I was walking down the street with this girl the other day and some drunk guy yelled out of a cab at me "nice shoes iverson" cause I wear these all purple nikes. The girl thought it was a complement. I have friends who are haters, they make fun of the guys on jersey shore, even though they got more money fame and women then they ever will.

^Words of wisdom. I had that feeling about the haters, but I don't want to discount anyone's opinion. The problem is separating the haters from those, like you, who who don't care for my profile, based on a genuine sentiment.

^dlightmen Perhaps, but I'm only looking for girls who don't see these things as dlvs, since I like doing them a lot. The pic is rated high, and I'm looking for girls who also smoke, drink, and stay up later. But I understand what you're saying, smoking would be a deal breaker for a lot of girls.
