Ok, the question is pretty obvious from the subject lol. I have a female friend on facebook who I noticed has a very nice looking mutual friend. I already asked my friend if she could introduce me to her friend, and she said yes. This was a few days ago and I’ve not heard anything. I’m not sure if my friend has actually done anything and even if she has, I think it’s better if I just now contact the mutual friend directly.

I don’t think I’ll add her as the opener as this could appear too keen. Instead I was thinking of an opener along the lines of

“hi, I’m xxxxx’s friend. Don’t know if u have heard anything from her but I saw your pic and u seem cute, and I wanted to see what you were like. Afterall, there’s more to people than looks. So maybe there’s something unique about you.”

This is a variation of something I’ve found online but I can’t seem to find much else.

Any ideas for a decent opener? Potentially a good cocky & funny one?

There's a much simpler opener, very simple. Its funny and seems to have promising sucess. I posted in the thread, its on here on the online surging section. You'll have to add her though, otherwise this won't work.
