I'm gonna assume no one here uses bbm cause I've never heard anyone talk about it. It's a messenger service like aim where you can take pictures, send files, and customize statuses. People network on bbm through broadcasting their pins across their friends list on a list called a train.

So I been experimenting with blackberry game and getting frustrating results. I almost always end up getting a decent convo out of an ugly girl but I can never catch the attention of the pretty ones. It's like I talk to the less attractive ones and lose interest or if I manage to get to talk to a pretty one then they lose interest.

My biggest problem is opening these girls. I usually end up losing prettier girls because I struggle to open and move past the opener with them. With the ugly girls I'll say anything but when they respond I don't feel like answering them back. When the pretty girls answer back I get lost and don't know what to do. When I do answer them either I'm too weak with what I say or I took too long and I either get responses that I can take nowhere or it'll show that my message was read but not even worth a reply.

I don't know if it's because I try to be funny or I just dont say the right things. I know I'm not too ugly because I can sometimes start a convo but they almost always end in a read message with no reply and I've been rated at 8 and 9 by people on my list. Sometimes I wonder if I come across as the player type or something and that's why I have no luck. I just can't figure out where to take certain convos especially after 1 word answers. I would ask questions but I run out of things I want to ask fast.

I just wanna know how should I try and progress the convo in this type of SPAM? I find that going direct is the quickest way to get ignored and I'm guessing a lot of pervy guys try to talk to these girls since anyone with a blackberry can add them anywhere in the world. I try to set myself apart through humor but I can't always pull up a joke since I always try to make them relevant. It's really hard talking to someone you don't know especially when they're probably expecting every guy to be lame.

I know that improvement in this will show in my actual game. I'm trying to get a couple girls before the end of summer so any advice on how to conversate and where to take conversation and anything else would be great.
