I added this HB8 (HB9 considering brains) in Facebook and had a first chat with her. I used as an opener that, as she is a cop and studies political science, I wanted to ask her some questions about civil self defense for my political activist group. Had a nice, energetic first chat. Hooked her with my general culture and later offered to help her in her thesis. I added her to my group, trying to pull her into my universe. Her replies were few and without much enthusiasm. Sent her some reading material that I promissed in the first chat, but got no reply.

Then I found her online today, got a quick chat, where she LOL'd a lot, and confessed to find me mysterious and scary, like a psychopath (probably because of all the dark surreal poetry I have been writing lately in my wall). I asked her if I was like a seductive psychopath, and she said "I don't know". I replied that I bet she does and said thanks to her, to which I got a good reply. From there I pushed to expose her attraction to me, and tried to get her phone number, saying I would call her during the week to hold another fun conversation.

I used urgency with the very real excuse of having to leave the computer because my mother needed it. Actually, one of my brothers had a work accident today and my mom needed to check some papers on the computer before going back to the hospital (and I went with my mother for the visit hours).

I also used self scarcity, by leaving the chat for a while to quickly prepare lunch for my mother when she came back from the hospital. I told the girl those things, trying to impress her with my sensibility and duty to family (she is a conservative after all). Pushed more (always making jokes about how ridiculous it is that a cop gets scared of an evil scientist like me) and then ended the chat politely, saying I would check lather if the phone number was in my email.

So I came back to home from the hospital, had dinner, had a shower and then checked facebook and email. Nothing there. She didn't bite the bait.

What can I do to follow the game? What mistake did I make?

I believe this girl could be a regular, or even a girlfriend if she is fun enough and low maintenance.

I number closed this girl last night. She wanted to go out right away, but I was awake since 5 AM, working in the morning and later taking care of things for my injured brother.

We agreed to have a phone chat soon and to go out and have some beer next saturday.

My salary will be in the bank in friday, so I think I got this well played.
