I'm lost here, maybe someone could help me out. And the more the merrier on responses.

I logged onto fb yesterday and saw an HB 8/9 that I went to school with under the "people you may know" or whatever it's called. We were in the same basic circle of friends back then but the problem is is that we never talked back then. Well, at least I don't think we did anyway. I don't think we had any classes together but I could be wrong there too. I do remember seeing her in the halls and stuff like that though. But because of all this uncertainty, I don't know how to approach her. It seems like if I approach her like I would any other girl I'm seeing/meeting for the first time, it could offend her. But if I come at her like I remember her and she doesn't remember me, then my value will be shot. Should I try to use the situation of us not talking back then, recognizing her from the halls n all that, n how?

Hope I don't seem too clueless, but I'm lost here. I haven't had anything like this pop up.

My brain's suggesting "try asking her if you ever really knew each other back then and whether it's worth the time to add her now or if she'd be dead weight on your friends list." Hope that's of some small help.
