So I added a girl on Facebook because she looked REALLY familiar. She accepted me and I commented on one of her status' and she says "thanks, you look really familiar, where do I know you from?"

So I private messaged her and I basically reinterated what she said

She asked if I went to the same school as her and if I worked

I told her I did and I asked here where she worked

She told me she worked at an ice cream shop, and that she went to school on tuesdays and thursdays (same as me)

I said to her "Hmm. Yea maybe it's from _insert school name here_...who knowss lol. Maybe this is a sign that we should get to know each other ??? only thing I can think of haha. What's your number? Maybe we can figure this out :p"

Ever since I sent that message, she hasn't replied. She has been on facebook chat both of the days she hasnt replied, but I didnt say anything to her yet.

Am I basically screwed? Or is there something I can say to save myself?

Would you do the same in real life too i.e. asking for her number almost instantly? I hope not. The guy above is right, develop comfort and build rapport before taking such leaps.

If she doesn't reply for a week, forget about her.
