Help! I'm getting no replies to my messages, the only mail i'm getting is from chicks I wouldn't go near if you paid me. All advice welcome, I can't be that funny looking surely!

I'd provide a sample of what i've been sending but I have a habit of emptying my sent box straight after mailing, i'm thinking I should give up sending individual messages if they can't be arsed to reply and do the old copy paste with tweaks to fit their profile.

Three pics are all kind of similar, I would just choose one of them and get rid of the rest. Then try and get some other pics in different situtions to add up there in their place.

I'd lose both the spartacus and Tiger woods lines. Confidence and a strong sense of self are attractive, so even though it's a joke, best lose it.

Also be aware of how it looks asthetically, the next paragraph looks like a massive block of text compared to all the others. It'll put people off reading it. Also re-read and try to make it flow better. For instance;

"Obviously there has to be mutual physical attraction for there to be good chemistry between two people. So being attractive and fit are important, as well as affection", these two lines are a bit fragmented and the affection thing looks tacked on at the end in an attempt to not look shallow. If you want to keep it, it would read better as one sentance instead of two, "Obviously there has to be mutual physical attraction for there to be good chemistry between two people, so being fit and attractive is important to me."

That being said, I don't think you need that line, you're not gonna go out with anyone you don't find attractive but no need to broadcast that, maybe it looks like you have standards etc but it might put off some 6s and 7s.

Long walks is a bit of a cliche so I'd lose that.

What so you're not supposed to look at the camera when you get you're pic taken? I'd say 9/10 photos on the entire site are people looking at the camera. Out of interest can you point me in the direction of some good profiles where this isn't the case, just so I can get an idea of what they're doing?

buy or borrow (or use bittorrent if you own the book) to grab a hold of a copy of derek lamont's "the online game" it gives you the fundamentals and basics about online sarging. It'll tell you what pics to have up on dating profiles, what to write in your about me sections and such, it also helps you with the first message. In addition if you meet girls in real life, it helps you keep your facebook attractive so your #close doesn't flake. It's a pretty short book, I honestly would just read it in store if you can't get a hold of it haha. 99.9% of the profiles on pof aren't good because if they are, they found someone most likely or are inactive because they messaged every girl in there area already. It'd be hard for me to find a good one.
