Well first you have to get the number close. Then talk on the phone so she is confortable meeting up with you before anything, it should flow from there

Actually you don't have to get her number. I usually just arrange where we're going to meet, for a cup of coffee. There's a comfort in knowing that someone doesn't have your phone number.

I agree, some girls don't want to give out their number before meeting incase you end up being a creep.

That's also why my pitch is "just 30 minutes of coffee and no expectations." It's "no stalking" sales pitch. Past experience has shown that women are very receptive to the idea of not being followed around by some needy puppy dog who has fallen in love.

Also, I don't like talking on the phone. Before the date, to me it's headspace bullshit. Has nothing to do with what the person is going to actually be like, and especially what she's actually going to look like. So I skip it. I don't like timid women who are unable to meet a strange man in public, so if she's squeamish that's no loss to me.

I hate talking on the phone too, but most of my meets have gone from pof, to texting, then to meeting. Having the phone number is handy for logistics, running late etc. Plus women love to flirt via text. I've built up guarenteed lays purely by text before.
