Ok so I’m not big into online gaming but I was thinking about giving it another go. I messed around with POF and OKC but found that most girls(at least in my area) were not what you would call high quality. Ive heard some decent things about match.com. I guess I’m just wondering how the pool of women would change if they actually paid for it unlike the free sites. Would love to hear anybody’s feedback. Side note, just got out of a relationship and I want to take a break from the bars/clubs for a while so I’m just thinking of alternatives.

the guy who runs OKC posted a really interesting blog entry that dealt with why it doesn't make sense to pay for a dating site.

What it boiled down to (and granted, this is coming from the founder of a free site) was that Match and the like have a very distinct reason for skewing the number of active females on the sites. Google okcupid blog paysites and it'll be the top result.

I am on my second 2 month try. Did one last year and didnt have any luck. I prefer 8 and above and they seem to get just smothered with attention on there and it makes it really hard to get anywhere. U exchange email after email, then it just got old for me. Hard to get chics to meet, as I guess it should be. if ur lookin for 6 or 7 I would say give it a shot, but I was friends with a really hot chic that was on there and she got like 200 emails a day.
