so I randomly posted on this girls wall. telling her that she looked familiar and she responded we went to high school together. we responded around 60 messages overall then I finally ask her what her number was. She gave it to me and we texted back and forth for about 2 days. I finally asked her if she wanted to hang out. I didn't get a text back after that. so the next day I just had a normal convo with her over text. The think I dont understand is when is a good time to ask if they want to hang out?

My opinion is, there never is a perfect time, there's a good time, and you didn't do much wrong, maybe she has trust issues. If you exchanged over 60 messages and were texting back to back for a few days, that's pretty solid interest.

To me, seems like she may think your one of the guys that wants one thing. How did you ask her out? Next time go the in-direct way, for example I had a HB10 I was after, asked her out twice, made excuses, but when we speak she says she has no plans, I then, never asked for a while. Eventually we were speaking as per normal, re-built comfort plus some more, I then asked her out in-directly by saying I'm in the area if she fancies a coffee to drop me a text, which she did. After a while, we got it on, had some good times.

OMG thank you so much. So far I've been texting this girl none stop everyday for 4 days straight it there around a text message every 2 minutes

No worries, just sometimes drop off the constant text back, it'll get her thinking, maybe leave the odd text and hour. If you reply back all the time, it may seem like you have nothing else to do.
