So I was rushing to class at my uni with a few friends, and noticed a chick that we used to go to the same school together.

Already had her fb, so I thought itd be a good oportunity to send a PM her way.. need help transitioning the convo and getting her number, to move on the next level..

HB - 2:30PM: hehe no am at *another uni*!:p i was there because i was waiting for to meet a friend for lunch:) are you at *uni*?

you need a hook
something that avoids the awkwardness of you purposely qualifying her or you DHVing to her
if you guys have anything else in common (friends, sport teams, etc) ask her about that then pull it to something that she might be into now
your best is looking at her profile and crossreferencing the info w/ wall posts to find out what she does often and asking her something semi-random about that
you could say "i noticed you were into the jersey shore or you're into thriller books etc"

I think you're going down a road where she might quickly become bored. Your messages are fun but sort-of lack a direction. I mean...the goal here is to get her # so you can text her and so you can setup a date. The way to do that is to get a rapid/fun conversation going. Sometimes throw out a short message that is still a "hook" as Zrsahai said. I like the "divorce opener" listed in this Online Sarging forum. It works like a charm, and adapt it a little bit depending on the girl. NEVER use it word for word...wouldn't want her Googling it and find your source!

totally agree with your here, I understand that I need to get stuff more interesting asap, and thats why am asking here for a few tips on how to change the convo to something more interesting heading towards an IM/# . Using the divorce routine I would recon is a bit late now since I already got her replying?


I've also notived she's been using a BB for facebook, and her last message was sent from phone. As I have a BB as well, I could use that to get her PIN , or you recon it's too early? Seeing she has it already posted on her profile, I doubt she is too picky to whom she gives it too.. and then I can start a text game

edit: also I find it a tad lenghty, somewhere around the 3rd or 4th post I see it gettin a bit boring lets say.. given that there also have been a few messages between us already..

also, i was thinking of using the 'mirror' routine as a hook if it's absolutely necessary to go for a routine..

i think that would work better than the divorce one?


what do you guys think? need some opinions asap as my replies are gettin slow and might lose any interest that may have been created on her side..
