How many emails back and forth should I wait until I ask for the woman's number?

i could tell you 1, i could tell you 959, but really it depends on the girl, but if you do get to email 959, its probably never going to happen! seriously though it depends on the girl, the confort you buit up ect, no set number, i sometimes go for it after the 3rd message, othertimes i go for it after speaking with them for a few minutes.

After I get the number when should I set up a date or ask her out? dont call it a date, if she works near you, just casually invite her to startbucks in your lunch hour.... by calling it a date or asking her out for what is catagorised as a date, like dinner for two in some swanky resteraunt, puts added pressure on her, so she is less likely to agree.
