Has anyone ever given Zoosk a chance? I was skeptical about it but I caved in and gave it a shot yesterday. I created an account, put up a pic and basically just spent about 20 minutes sending "winks" to cute girls in my area. Before I logged off, I put my cell # in my profile.

After that I just basically left it alone. It's been less than 24 hrs since and I've had four different girls text me that I "winked" earlier. The only reall different thing about this from POF was the "wink" system. It just let the girls know I was around and available and I got great responses. And I didnt need to pay per month for it and I've already gotten better responses than I ever thought I'd get.

So, I recommend for people who havent tried this yet, just make an account, spend some time doing the "winks" and leave a number. I was actually amazed that I had four girls text me in such a short period of time.

Im not too familiar with online gaming, I' ve never messed with it until recently so I dont know if this is already common knowledge or not but yeah. If this is already painfully obvious, my bad ;p

These alternative sites are great. Seriously, if you're using POF or OkCupid in a densely populated city like NYC... you have very little chance of hooking up with an attractive woman. They receive way too many messages per day. Ive seen girls with full mailboxes... which is over 5000 messages.

If you use Zoosk, or some other less popular services like the Hot or Not App... I think you can get way better results.
