I don't know if someone already posted an opener like this one, but if not I take the credits.

I like simple and direct openers that I can copy/past. So that what I used and I've got few answers already :

- Hey, I think I know you from somewhere but I can't remember...do we know eachother? If not we really should.

- Hey, there you go. Your first message. Have a nice day.


The first one worked 1/5...it's not that bad. I didn't test it more than that.

For the second one, I've got about 3/5 answers, but it seems that the girl were more bitching that interesting, so I think I will let it go because it is too cocky. At first I thought it was funny.

If you have any other original and direct opener, I will try it and post result.

The first one is good. I've had that used on me once and it actually worked because I believed him. Then I realized he wasn't attractive hadn't washed his hair in a while and probably saw that I was interested in him and just used it to his advantage. But it got farther than many other attempts have.

As for the second one you just sound like an asshole.

Maybe try instead.

I have a feeling this is your first message, you seem like a girl who doesn't get hit on a lot. Which is a shame.

That way there is both positive and negative and it will work well on hot girls who get hit on all the time, because they'll be negged by the you don't seem like you get hit on a lot. But you're not a total dick. It will also work well on girls with lower self esteem because they will genuinely agree with it.

And if a girl messages you back with why don't I get hit on a lot you say:

Because you seem like the kind of girl who is too picky/too smart/trait that may be off putting. But that's okay I'm (whatever) too.

Hmmm. If you're just going to test stuff on my behalf, how about a message like:
Subject : Something really interesting inside!
Body: It's empty...

Seems like it would generate interest, but probably not responses. Prove me wrong. Your first message is a lot like the old bar opener "Hey! Don't I know you from somewhere?" And the second message doesn't ask the girl to do anything. I'm surprised it gets responses at all. I dunno about agent_visceral's follow up to the opener. Try it out. It sounds like it's approval seeking (you're just like me, me too!) and overly complimentary. Those are way better than any opener a girl has given me. Compliments have gotten me nowhere, it's better to give a girl your approval. "It's good that you're blank; I'm proud of you."

Oh! And try an opinion opener. "Hey, you're the kind of girl I'm trying to attract, but all I'm getting is (bull dykes, cougars, metro guys, something funny), can you look over my profile and tell me what I'm doing wrong? It's driving me crazy!" I expect to hear results!

Although the value of online sarging can be disputed, the fact that a decent amount of social interaction takes place in colleges, proves that their can be a use. for example, when getting someones name or number.. never add them. if your in class give them your name and have them add you. in the real world you take numbers not the other way around. but online 'adding them' on facebook gives them them the dominant position.

If you do choose to add someone you don't know on facebook or myspace, you could go with a pretty easy multi line opener ive used many times.

you: "Hey, is this you? your cuter then my friend said. hes lucky to have you "

hb: huh? or "whos your friend?"

you: oh shit... wrong person.

hb: ...ah lol. well should i click deny then?

you: lol, well it depends if you want to be my friend or not.. thats on you

This kind of thing is a hit or miss but when online you can really do this to a ton of people at once. ive found that it works with the first person most of the time.
