I'll be honest. I had a tough time deciding between joining eHarmony. com and match. com. Both sites have TV commercials and both promise love. However, I heard a rumor that eHarmony was exclusively for white Christian racists. That made my decision a lot easier, so here I am.

First of all, I thought I would scare all the fainthearted women away with a Nietzsche quote about love and madness. Very few people can start a book with the words, "[s]upposing that Truth is a woman—what then?" I figured I would try something similar with my match. com profile.

I am a California native and love this beautiful bankrupt state of ours. I love good food and great conversations. I'm a pretty adventurous eater and have eaten creatures and things that might disgust you or make you sick. I'm an extrovert and enjoy talking to interesting people and making new friends. Occasionally, I must be told to "shut up." Hopefully you will be more polite than my friends.

Notwithstanding the fact that I usually plan ahead, I dislike "to do" lists and I am sometimes impulsive and spontaneous. It keeps life interesting. My taste in most things can be best described as eclectic. I'm into history, philosophy, and theosophy. When it comes to relationships, I live by two simple words: reciprocity and respect.

Although I detest the French for being the rude bastards that they are, I do love their language. My favorite French phrase is "je ne sais quoi." It means an intangible quality that makes someone distinctive or attractive. Do you have a certain je ne sais quoi about you? I'm essentially looking for a smart and independent woman who is humble, kindhearted, and sexy. I want a sweet girl who is cultured, cute, educated, open-minded, and loves international travel.
