Ok, I havent talked to this chick in years, she used to be in one of my old classes. I opened up with- Hey, Do you know "Name", I heard he's in your class.

That opened up to me using some humor to beat up on my friend (In a kidding way, not like I'd screw over a friend for a girl) and she asked why I asked. I told her that she came up in conversation. But, in a smoother way I suppose.

Uh, in short. We talked about old memories, I used some humor. It was friendly.

I had to leave so I said "I gotta go, if you're on later maybe we'll talk again."

Then I gotta- Soundss gooood!

I tried again tonight and she told me she couldn't talk, but that she will be on later tonight. So I let it go and said - Ok, I'll cya!



My friends have told me to just be humorous and talked about thinks that keep her enjoying the converstation. So- Gogogogo!

Anyone? If I saw this girl in school I would have talked to her. I tried talking to another girl yesterday and apparently I am very good in person.

Hey.
If you've established yourself as a funny sorta guy, with just humor to show value, you may blow out man. If you see her in the hallways or whatever, you can use one of the canned openers("Do you think spells work?" "How many 9's are there between 1 and 100?"), it doesn't matter, all you have to do is engage conversation. She knows you're funny, now demonstrate value in a different way. Tell her stories that show that you're not just an average guy. I prefer to use stuff that actually happened to me, or I did, that way it flows more easily. Everyone has those stories, its up to you to put it into terms that show that she's gonna have to work to have to get to know you. You are the prize. Or learn some ESP routines, they work great with the smarter girls, because they grasp for knowledge. And try and give a false time constraint. Say you only have a sec. If she starts getting disinterested, use another opener (because openers are routines too, so you might as well use them) then roll off, say "Think about it..." and walk off. By doing so you give her the opportunity of engaging you in conversation. And you also don't have to worry about waiting a certain amount of time before talking to her, because she'll talk to you. But don't do it more than once, if you keep leaving her with questions, she'll get bored of you. So once she re-engages you, now you are her primary focus, you can then get her number by saying, "Okay I've gotta get outta here now, but the look on your face says you want to continue this, so...?". If you pull if off right she'll give you her number. If you do get her number, I prefer to start with just texting, make her feel she'll have to work for your phone calls, and no more than one text, if she replies, then reply back, but word your answers so it always seems like she's hitting on you, don't push too hard though. You have the advantage of being able to think about your answers rather than give a spontaneous one, use it. Push her away, then pull her back, and repeat. She'll start qualifying herself to you. And don't text direct shit like "Do you wanna grab a drink?" that's a cliche AFC thing, and BOOM you're outta there. Text her an open ended statement, that makes her ask you questions about it. Always always always, make her work for you. Up till the last minute, so you can rationalize it and say, "Oh well it just happened!".
