But I'm wondering if I should just keep trying to game her through the dating site, or if I should try to get my friend to suggest a double date or something?

Then you should more than likely be # closing her. Don't continue talking to her online. You should never use online to set up a relationship but only to set up a date/meeting.
I really don't like the idea of having friends try to suggest other friends into dating someone because it just all seems very middle-schoolish to me.
