This article came out a month ago where a bunch of stat nerds took a mathematical approach to posting an online picture.

The results were pretty surprising. I always thought that you needed to have someone else taking your pic with a actual camera. The nerds say that it doesn't really matter. Smiling and looking at the camera are also no-no's.

Great photo. Ironically, my primary photo on okcupid shows me looking away from the camera and not smiling....
