Hey guys. I've met this nice girl online on Facebook who intro-ed herself to me after I came to New Zealand to study cause she was friends with one of my friends back from elementary school. We've been corresponding fine, but I teased her about some of her subject choices in school and she suddenly replied in a hostile manner? I definitely touched a point but I just need to make sure it's my fault and not some problem she has with people insulting her subjects. Here's the context:

Girl: "Hey. Wat subjects do u take?"
Guy: "Ladies first. What subjects do you take?"
Girl: "LOL. What's the difference? Fine. I take Physics, Chemistry, Accounting, Economics, Maths Extension and English A band. Your turn?"
Guy: "AHAHAHAHA. That's the subjects which all the asians usually take. It's like, pretty nerdy choices. XD

I'm taking Music, Journalism, ICT, Physics, Maths (Extension was full), English B Band (Since I'm from ----------. -.-). I wanted to take drama instead of Physics, but I could either only take ICT or drama since the classes were at the same time.

See? These subjects are way cooler than yours, really. :)"
Girl: "Did they test you on your English? I'm from --------- too and I only came here last year. They should put you in A band, I don't see how your English(in terms of writing since we have not meet) is much different from mine. Oh well.
You think that your subjects are cooler than mine because they are your interest and they'd probably help you in what you want to do in your future (What's your ambition anyway?). Not mine. You don't know the reasons why I'm taking these subjects. I would appreciate it if you keep your comments to yourself.
And thanks for calling me a nerd and using the Asian stereotype on me."

So that's how it signed off. Here's my reply, please comment on how it sounds:
Guy: "Well, sorry if I don't apologize for it. I respect your choices, so I'm sorry if you feel so strongly about it.

No, they didn't test me, cause like I did to you, they put the asian stereotype on me. I'm being optimistic about it."
