I feel you, I failed the other night on facebook chat too but I wasn't actually trying, just testing waters and I sort of know the girl I was talking to.

What I think happened with you though is that you came on too weird.

You had the right idea but it usually works to role play if you at least met in person once before or sort of know each other already. Otherwise she's just going to think your trying too hard or coming on too strong which gives her higher value.

I mean yea, she doesn't get approached like that often and she'll remember it but in a weird way.

You want to be out of the ordinary but slick,flirtatious, and funny at the same time. Not out of the ordinary in a weird sense.

If some guy or girl just randomly approached you online who you know nothing about, and they start role playing that your married doesn't that sort of strike you as weird?

At best maybe she thought you were drunk and didn't want a drunk call.

Don't get me wrong, some girls might be into that and like the challenge but the majority especially shallow ones are going to be like "weird...creepo".

She probably enjoyed the convo but for security sakes didn't want to give you her real number.

I would have at least had 2 different convos on different days filled with IOI's before I asked for her number just to get a sense of "comfort".

There are plenty of girls out there especially on facebook, just go out and try again. That's what i'm doing.

Also let me add this: If she didn't have the class to AT LEAST come up with a lame excuse to not give you her number like "my phone is damaged" or "I lost my phone today" or "I'm switching carriers" then you don't want that kind of girl anyway. Or at least I don't.

That is just plain low to give a wrong number intentionally.
