And I totally agree with that, I had an old page, then I erased my myspace for a while and not too long ago I was bored and re-created it, noticed it was completely different!
I think they're trying to do it like facebook though which is why they changed
so much to it!

Did you message her to find a new penpal or to meet her? I know its a social networking site and NOT a dating site, but still BEING DIRECT is win in my opinion. You and her both know you didn't add her to be friends, you added her for the same reason every other guy adds her. She's shown interest, go with that, build as much comfort as you feel necessary and ask her out quickly. Otherwise your going to play email tennis for months and never meet.
Look at the "Stickied" threads in this section of the forum, they're extremely helpful.
