So earlier this week I replied to a posting on Craigslist. There were no pictures on the posting so I was taking my chances. I got a response within an hour with pictures of her and she was asking me some questions and showing signs of interest. So after a few hours later that evening I sent her a response with a few pictures of myself. Then I heard nothing back from her. A couple of days went by and I decided to send her another message to see what was up. Sure enough after about an hour she sent me this back:

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply back to you. For some reason your last reply went into my spam folder and I just found it now after getting this e-mail from you. I'm not sure why it went there. Yes, I have been getting a lot of replys... no proposals yet, lol, but definately a lot of desperate guys out there. Thanks for the pictures. I do have to tell you that you are very cute! You also seem that a wonderful person that I would like to get to know more.

A $5,000 gift card? That is tough to pick just 1 store. It would probably be Target or Kohls.

So as you can see the only reason that she hadn't responded was because my email had gone into her spam. And I have heard other reasons as well for not getting a response the first time. I always send a follow up message and have had fairly good success with this. I never realized how important it was until I started sending them out.

Follow-up/chaser/reminder mails DO work as most men do not put any effort to online game and lack persistence
