This is just the profile text. I definitely think it's unique, but it may be polarizing. Tell me what you guys think!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Self-Summary
I like learning, conversation, culture, time, philosophy, openness and oneness.

The poem "If" by Rudyard Kipling is a huge inspiration for me.

Robert Thurman's quote: "Wisdom is tolerance of cognitive dissonance" perfectly describes my mindset. I love the beauty in complexity.

I see most things as a learning experience. I find it enthralling to put a lot on my plate, but this sometimes works to my disadvantage. I love anything that can be described as a challenge. People have described me as both a space-cadet and hyper-focused. I smile a lot, I laugh a lot, and I'll most likely make your day.

What I’m doing with my life
Science student, about to graduate and do Teach For America. Then various odd jobs until I'm like 50, or the obligatory Medical School.

Other than school and working at an AIDS clinic, I have a thousand other hobbies and interests that I attempt to find time for. Some of these include: cooking, lifting, running, rock climbing, guitar, microbrews, tea, chess, brazilian jiujitsu, and soon to be ballroom dancing!

But I really just want to go out on the road à la Jack Kerouac, and live as a nomad.

I’m really good at

Having an encyclopedic knowledge of miscellaneous, mostly useless facts. I would probably be the best person to have with you on Cash Cab.

I'm really bad at:
Small talk.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
"Favorites" ebb and flow. But currently,

Books: Gravity's Rainbow, Moby Dick, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, The Sun Also Rises, Old Man And The Sea, The Count of Monte Cristo.

Movies: 2001: A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner, Eyes Wide shut, Fight Club, Good Will Hunting, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Reservoir Dogs, The Fifth Element, The Fountain.

Music: A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Claude Debussy, Dave Brubeck, DJ Shadow, Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley, Mos Def, NIN, Omar Rodriguez, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Saul Williams, Sigur Ros, World's End Girlfriend, Wu-Tang Clan.

Food: Mexican, Thai, Mediterranean, everything.

Television: Carl Sagan's Cosmos, Dexter, Firefly, Generation Kill, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Daily Show, The Wire.

The six things I could never do without
Freedom.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lateral thinking, girls, maximizing opportunities, my next meal.

On a typical Friday night I am

Out with friends - I am in college. But I enjoy my chill nights too.

You should message me if
you want to.

I wanted to make it more compact and concise, and I think this is a lot better. Still, feedback is much appreciated!

My Self-Summary
People have described me as a stoic with a genuine curiosity. I love the abstract, but I'm pretty practical when it comes down to it. I like to meet new people, experience different cultures, have interesting conversations, and learn new things. I love anything that can be described as a challenge. I smile a lot, I laugh a lot, and I'll most likely make your day.

I don't know. For one, you're just talking about yourself and a woman would have to use her brain to learn about you. Two problems there, for one they are lazy and just want to be entertained. That's your job. Your profile is not entertaining.

Another, keep in mind, these chicks don't really give a crap about you. They want to be intrigued. Just talking about yourself gets boring. Would you just talk about yourself for very long on a date?

I'd say add edge, humor, ask them to qualify themselves. All the things you do when you actually try to pull women from bars. The profile is easy, once it's done, there is no more work involved.

I would suggest you cruise other profiles for ideas.

Your profile is ok. But for the online game, you are really going to want to be coming in at a stronger angle. Online game is no differant than real life. Line ten guys up and all the woman are going to be attracted to that one stand out guy. So you have to be that guy,

Cheers
