girls will assume your just like every other guy if you go with "hey whatsup" next time try a clever opener that will make her laugh. The fact that she responded to you means she doesn't think your a total creeper.

For now, I'd just cut that thread and jump to an opinion opener

it doesnt really matter, try an opener or something funny to get her attention. I would say the usual ''what you up to nowadays'' etcc is kind of lame. It depends really if she isnt that attractive then a normal convo could work.

I would be tempted to say "You must be doing SOMEthing. Are you breathing? Or is breathing not fun anymore!" It's a paraphrase of a line from the lyrics of out Of The Frying Pan (And into the Fire). The song has a few lines which could be tweaked for replies - "You're only killing time and it'll kill you right back" or "Come on, let's chat.You got nothing to do and even less to lose".

Shit I may go through all my records and steal some lyrics to use and tweak slightly.

hahaha nice man i like the last chat one i may use that one. thanks for the advice.

she seemed to open up a little telling me about that she is stressed. now im kind of stuck since i asked where she worked ill do my best to build rapport and be funny see how that works

Don't thank me , you should thank songwriter Jim Steinman for those words.

I think you may be using closed questions when you are asking about her. Closed questions - when, what, who, where etc - can be answered too quickly and with facts. Open questions - why, what do you like about, what's your opinion - are more useful as they lead to more response if the girl is open
