| | | ok. date scheduled with this 8.5. this is from an online dating site. thing is, as soon as we exchange numbers today (date is this weekend), she starts texting like crazy. might be a dumb question, but that's why i'm here... should i just take the route of fewer responses? I mean, it's a lot of texts already...and I think I derailed situations that could have been good in the past by giving too much 'text attention' prior to the date. it's a fine line i don't entirely understand - you don't want to fucking sink the date before it happens, but you don't want to be a total text tool

The suggestions usually are to not text too much, so you have more to talk about in person and to come off as busy and thus of higher-value.
But this is the texting age, and some women, particularly younger ones, may text alot more.
If you're not going to match her frequency, start replying in one-liners and tell her clearly 'hey babe I gotta go, I'm doing ...' _________________ I'm a ninja-fighter.
