So I sent this girl a simple compliment opener message and got a very enthusiastic response. She was like "oh I'm new to the area as well we should totally it up the surrounding towns!"

I followed up with something witty, but not asking any questions.

The next day (this is all over the course of 2 days), she responds with pretty much nothing but "Heres my number xxx-xxxx And yes, I would answer you!!!!!!!"

Is this the best thing ever or should I be a little apprehensive? I mean, I barely put any effort into this and she already tossed out her number. How would you respond?

I don't think you should worry too much. As she said "She is new to the area" so she wants to make some friends. Just go for it, and not care bro.

This sort of thing happened to me just a month ago.
I sent this girl a message on facebook about her pictures. Except we got to chatting like 2 mins after I sent that. 2 mins later she gave me her phone number, and then the next day she did the same again forgetting she already gave me her number.
Didn't end up so well cause I screwed up the in-person encounter with her. She wasn't what I thought anyways. Oh well,

Yeah though, some people are like that. Especially on MyYearBook, SO EASY TO GET NUMBERS it's boring! Just go for it though, and don't concern yourself too much about it. You can't really be for sure what kind of girl she is until you meet her.
