Well i recently had my first im sorry but do i know you ? and i thought i would try and come up with my own reply trying to not be too AFC heres what i wrote:

HER: hi, im not being funny,but who are you?

ME: Yea sorry, i thought afterwards i shouldnty have sent that, it was a different way to break the ice, thought you might have found it funny :p ah well...

You dont know me but you seem cool and i'd like to get to know you

Right now typing this i feel too AFC and i think it will get a bad response from you guys but you live and learn.

Be as harsh as you can criticising and also if you could show me where i went wrong and what i could have wrote.

My response to the her comment would be something on the lines of:
"I'm someone you probably shouldn't be talking to... but you probably will anyway " and continue with something personal

i've tested this and i usually get a reply that goes something like

"omg! haha i remember that show.. my favourite show when i was 5 was blah blah blah..."

the best thing to do is to ignore the whole 'who are you' crap..
remember the whole idea of game is to be different... and saying who you are .. or lying about some stupid place you met them isn't different at all.. it's average .. and you dont want to be average!
instead give them a funny answer that takes them back to their childhood!
it's funny, random and it shows you're not gunna be their bitch by answering all their questions so seriously!
