It's crude and basic knowledge that if you respond far too quickly, your value is lower. This works both ways. When you send a text or email to a chick you're attracted to, the attraction is heightened if there's a random, unpredictable delay in her response.

What are your thoughts on this?

I think generally more than 3 or 4 emails a week is pushing it. The girl should see your messages as a treat, something to look forward to, not something she becomes bored and habituated with.
