Alright so ill get straight to it, im new to the community so im open to ALL AND ANY types of criticism/advice you guys can give.

I use this opener/bait whatever you want to call it ALL the time. Whether its through text messageing or any of the social networking sites. It has an infinite ammount ways to respond back(dont kno em all yet). So if any of you have any more suggestions on responses let me kno...

I have an example of how i used it the other day on a 10 that i knew from back in highschool and havent spoken to them in YEARS. (I was bored)

ME: So im curious...

HB10: About? <<<< EVERY girls responds back with this ALL the time and quickly

alternate response i use back is... u just popped in my mind n i was curious on how u was doin.
COULD USE MORE IDEAS ON HOW TO RESPOND IF ANY OF U HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS

ME: Well a few things but not all at once...to start off with what happened to the nerdy shy innocent girl? u were a herd back in the day
HERD = HOT NERD (PROPS TO SINN)

HB10: Yeah, right...i was not a nerd! Good student does not = nerd...
i was hoping she bite on the herd but she didnt, o well

ME: Ok so in ur opinion(solely urs obviously) what does that = to...n if u say x=y then ud b a lost cause lol b sad too cuz uve got potential

HB10: Wow you actually learned something in Math. I'm impressed...

ME: Did you drink to much last night? If thats all it takes to impress u then wait till we get to anatomy

HB10: Oh no, it takes a lot more than that to impress me... Trust that.

ME: Like

after that i got no response -- only has been one day

NOW MY QUESTIONS ARE

1. what to do next if there is anything to do?

2.What i could have done differently?

3. Any ideas on other responses to give after the "about?" response?

Here she sounds at least interested in the conversation.

Her shift from an excited state in the last message to a somewhat confrontational state in this message is probably because the neg here doesn't feel right. Personally I would have gone a totally different route and maybe make something about how she used to rock the pocket protector like nobody's business. You might be able to get by with another neg just as long as it's sensical.
This is where you lose her. A second neg was too much and she was already pissed off at you so the sexual innuendo at the end did nothing but make it seem like you were a creep.

Walk away and try again in a few months. You basically lost her interest in that conversation.
Not given her the "power" or allowed her to dominate the conversation. Take control of the conversation (ie be more alpha male like) and either make it a tad bit more about her or at least more interesting.
Use your imagination. If there was something eye catching on her profile on myspace/facebook bring that up. If you knew the girl like in this case ask her what she has been up to since high school.
