So I start messaging some chick on facebook who has mutual friends, here's the entire convo.

Me: hey goof are you in the same group?
Her: Yes i am.
Me: ok cool, now my next question is... ur not are weirdo are you?
Her: Whats that suppose to mean! ha ha ha!
Me: just gotta check.. you never know u know... ive had my fair share of weirdos n stalkers before u dont look much of a weirdo but i cant say the same for a trouble maker
Her: Haha alright..
Me: ok well go to sleep u bum its past ur bedtime...
Her: oh wow. hahaha

Me: hey dork wat sort of trouble are you causing?
Her: ummm. none.
Me: Pfttt... yea right.. i dunno y but i get this vibe from u that ur trouble
Her: Hmm. Do i know you or something?
Me: Well actually I know your mom, and she asked me to approach you because you need a lot of help.
Her: Wow. Lol. Who are you? Your kinda irritating..
Me: im glad u like it well (name)? im kontrol... its a pleasure to met ME n i knoe ur friends ______ n _____.
Her: k well i dont know you.. Or care to. Sooo.. Peace.
(here is where she text my friend who forwarded the message to me of her sayn wats the deal n why im tryn to flirt with her n that im being rude n irritating.)
Me: o u must have thought i was hitting on you or something... i was just being nice. PEACE!.....

So i was trying out new material but i wanna know where i went wrong for future reference...

I fucking hate facebook messaging. I don't use it anymore for any reason because I often had interactions like that (creeped out, disinterested) with girls who I had met in real life and were hooked earlier. We have similar styles (lots of cocky/funny) and I don't know why but I find I get no interest with it in facebook chat in relation to POF where it works fine. Maybe it's because on an online dating site girls expect to be hit on so they're more playful and receptive whereas facebook puts them in more of a friendship/platonic type mode. Who knows. Obviously it works for some people out there.

I also don't like working friends-of-friends like that over the internet and find it uncomfortable for both parties.

Kontrol - You came off as creepy and to aggressive/pushy/desperate with your flirting. And if this was your first conversation with the girl you never attempted to establish comfort with her. You went straight to attraction and you need to do both and balance both at the same time.

Kontrol I think you did a pretty slick job, lot's of good humor. Just learn your lesson. There's only so far girls are gonna go with a guy they don't know on a non-dating site. So just like in a bar, when you break with a cool opener, like you did, move in to get to know her, then build some attraction and value.

But look, don't quit. You're a pretty sharp guy. Figure it out and come up with that one formula that will work for you. Don't stop now...

Hmmm... tru that. I did notice when she stoped being coo n got all serious, but someone told me to assume that a girl is already attracted to you n work from there. So i plowed through lol
