Wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

I IM'd this HB8 on POF and we talked for about an hour and 15. We exchanged yahoo screen names because I said I'm not on POF much. So we're added to each others' buddy lists, but we're never on at the same time. I'm not on much at all actually; when I am, she's not.

So I sent her an offline message after a week, she sent one back, and ever since then it's been like IM tag every few days. It's been 2.5 weeks since the original conversation. Was thinking of trying to move to texting, but it seems like not enough rapport is built for that. I don't know what else to do.

I wouldn't be "thinking" about getting her phone number. I'd do it. There area a couple lead-ins you can use to get it. The most basic being that you don't POF much or IM much, so you want the number so you can talk.

Just go for it.
