There's a lot of topics here about 1-on-1 chat methods, but none on how to act in public chatrooms (that I have seen). I've experimented on a few (generic rooms, vampire rooms, etc) with webcams so I can see if the chick I'm talking to is a) hot and b) a chick. Pretty much the most progress I've made in any room is make a few girls laugh every once in awhile, but I couldn't figure out how how I'd coax them into private chat for #s...

My hypothesis is that in order to be successful in public chatrooms is to game the whole room; meaning become the center of attention. Such a thing is easier said than done though; most rooms are so rapid and spontaneous that it seems almost impossible to hold more than one or two people's attention at a time.

Does anyone have any advice on this issue? I'm really into vampiresses...
