I used to have facebook account for a year but when I reached about 120 "friends" recently, I just slowly started to be sick of all of that shit there. Despite that, it still stayed to be kind of a drug for me. I couldn't help myself to not check it everyday and it consumed plenty of my time. Eventually, about three weeks ago, I removed my account and just left it 4ever.

Now, let's discuss - is it really worth it to be on facebook REGARDING THE ART OF PICK-UP?

Here are my opinions:

+ PLUSES +

- Another means of comunication with the targets
- You have time to think over and comfortably present your personality from home showing chosen photos (photo routine), making "cool" comments and other stuff for all of the targets you have added
- You can meet back the girls you wanted to fuck during your AFC era at basic school, high school and elsewhere
- Sometimes, it can be "interesting" to watch other people's lives + you can get useful info about your "friends"/targets and the relations in your "friends" community

- MINUSES -

- Loosing privacy=mystery=interest of people in your personality
- Loosing so much time and energy with often totally usless stuff done hiden behind your monitor instead of improoving your real social skills face-to-face or by phoning
- Loosing the pretext to call as the only means of the possible real communication with the target (when you CALL a girl, she may think: "this guy just calls like nothing, wow, he just doesn't care, he has to be sure about his speach + wow, he doesn't give a shit about facebook, probably he doesn't even need it - he has to be satisfied with the life he's living...")
- Loosing the opportunity to present your personality indepentently upon the individual target (your mother/workmates/schoolmates/friends etc can possibly see the same statuses, photos, comments etc as an individual target)
- there are many well known more negatives like the security and personal data shit but it doesn't deal with the PUA so lets drop these...


To be honest, I think no real PUA should feel the need to have facebook or at least to check it every now and then having his profile tuned like his 13 old brother/sister. Futhermore, when I left the facebook comunity I suddently felt a relief like loosing my load after a week... Also, being cut off the regular amount of interaction that satisfied me, I felt a new energy and need to go sarging and personally comunicate which for sure gives you much more experience. Same as when you forbid yourself wanking for a few weeks and then go out, you are bigger, stronger and faster (smarter) - you should try it sometime

I agree. You left it for a reason. Fuck that. There are guys who are expert at sarging facebook. But if you put your time in and found it's just a world-wide hand holding session, then screw it.

I've been sarging Plenty of Fish. POF. I'm about done. Chicks got the upper hand in that. I'm getting good responses with really good ladies. But I can tell,,, these chicks are getting played by twenty other guys while I'm trying to play her.

Sure I can make it work,,, but it seems like it ain't worth the effort.
