Stealth, I think you did a pretty decent job my friend! Why?

1. You scanned her profile for something you could go with, messaged her about it and clearly grabbed her attention because she responded. You SHOWED her you were being playful and you were teasing her with that princess syndrome, so desperate in that 1st message? Nope..you WOULD be if you didn't laugh about it and make fun of it.

2. Her message: she picked up on your playfulness and was being playful back, AND she told you some stuff about herself (I'm working now, I have a new phone..so 2 things)

3. Your message back: again, saying you're mine, no sharing, and I'm not leaving you stranded alone would be desperate..but laughing about it, making fun of it and teasing her? Is GOLDEN!

As a final note: one of the things most men seem to forget is connecting with a woman, letting her open up to you, warm up to a conversation with you (so: to get her talking and to relate to her). They think it's "gay", but the reality is: the more information about her you have, the more stuff you can tease her with, challenge her with, be picky about..

So I would continue the whole dwarfs thing too, but would THEN go into the info she gave me: she got a new phone..ask her what kind of phone and THEN say: "I sure hope you're not a creepy stalking little princes of the land of Dark Alleys and Murderous Jealousy who thinks texting me 200 messages per day is "normal":P"

Great thing about it: she'll laugh and react and no matter what, you can reply to that one with: "but you know what? I can give you my number so you can text me, but ONLY if you promise me you WON'T be the creepy stalker princess who sends me 200 texts per day!"

And there you go: contact info close. And this is the reason why I scan profiles too and use a go with the flow style of conversation, to make getting the contact info easier (plus any given opener will never get standard, because they're all unique).

Thanks man - I wasn't sure because I thought I was doing the same behavior as usual. Looks like I'm starting to get out of it. For the current moment i have to keep on occupy myself.

You know how that little feeling gets inside when you feel ur doing something wrong? Long time ago I use to be really needy and clingy and sometimes I wonder if I'm doing the same thing again - u know?

IMO the second message you sent did seem slightly desperate you could have used the idea of push/pull and taken out the "I'm 27 - that wouldn't be taken advantage of ya would it? LOL". However the first one was great way of Role Playing and girls love that which is probably why she responded back so positively.

I wouldn't read too much into her reading your mail and not responding just yet. I think some girls do this as either a shit test or because they are afraid to show too much interest early. You were pretty up front in your emails, so my guess is that she's shit testing you to see if you are the desperate/clingy/stalker type. I think your right to just move on and do other shit, and not focus on this convo. However, I wouldn't be surprised if you get a message in a day or two.

My personal experience with internet sarging is that the process can get drug out a bit. I've seemed to have more success when I take my time and don't try to push things too fast.

I got her number, now along with other girls numbers. This one named Carrie told me that she's going out of town this weekend and I wrote back, 'Okay, have fun and behave" and som other cocky funny lines. With val she told me she's mainly on myspace and she works 10+ hrs a day that she can't promise she can text back. I wonder if that photo is down with her BFF that I thought was her boyfriend. Because I asked who that guy was and he seemed nice. She wrote to me that no he's just a BFF but I'll give you my number.

This other chick named Carrie I think is testing me as well.
