I was surfin around the online sarging section the other day, and ended up finding an opener i liked and wanted to try. So i tried for my first time, and i finally got one response out of about 10 girls I sent the opener to.

The one I used was:
Quote:
I was going to add you my friends list but i'm having second thoughts now, since we seem to be too much alike... do you get along with people your age/younger/older?
and this was the response:
Quote:
If you are having seconds thoughts then don't add me. No worries
Now, i know the whole point in the opener is to open and it worked. But where do i go after a response like that? Does anyone have any suggestions on what i could say back to a response like that? Any help would be greatly appreciated, i absolutely suck at sarging online, hehe.

Sarging online can pose a tough challenge. Mainly for the reasons that the women can't see your body language and the tone of voice and everything. In my experience i will go very direct and use an opener like, "I came across your page and you were too pretty to pass up"

As for the response you got I'm a little lost on what to say. Maybe just try but Well I guess I don't have to but seem too interesting to pass up. I don't know just throwing out ideas

Any old opener isnt necessarily a useful one. You want something workable back, even better predictable. If you get 1/10 response. there's something seriously wrong with the opener and the 1 is a clue. In this case, they're focusing on the wrong thing and 9/10 respondents could be bothered to say it.

It's like when u tell people a bunch of stuff, one thing always sticks in the mind the most. With a multiple part opener it's constructed to create a subconscious impression and herd them into answering a specific question, and the answer will be within specific bounds. But the question has to be vaguely related to the previous parts.

in this case you trying to suggest they give you a reason why you should add them but I think it's all gone wrong. the question seems somewhat unrelated and it seems to me like there's something missing at the start.

I dont know if this would work or not cos im not certain about the alike thing.

Hey, you're kinda cute/pretty/hot, I was going to add you but I'm having second thoughts cos we seem too much alike. Tell me something cool/different/interesting about yourself that isnt on your profile.

the first sentence communicates looks arent important. Im hoping they'll ignore the alike bit. then you're asking them to think of a something that makes them different.

they'll either, question the alike bit,
dlv themselves, ie tell you they're not cool, interesting etc
or tell you something else that's useful.
