My first post here. I opened a girl with the good looking people are everywhere opener, and asked what else she had going for her. Her response was

"just one question:
why do you think I want you to be interested!!?? "

So what's the most effective way to respond to that? She's a HB9 bartender chick. I don't want to qualify myself to her do I? Somehow I want to turn it around on her, no?

WOAH! This really wasn't made to be used as an opener in field. Let me explain it's origin and why you got this reaction. This line came from Mystery which I'm assuming you already know. The line originally was used when transitioning to A3 Male to Female Interest. The idea was that she would start giving you thinks about herself (DHVs) and then you could comment on them to show interest.

For reflection: A3 phase of the M3 Model is just the opposite of A2. In A2 you are not showing interest in your target, telling DHV stories to raise our value, and looking for Indicators of Interest. A3, when know she likes us based on IOIs and now we are having her DHV so we can show interest back to her slowly.

The line has been used as an opener in online game with some success but in the field really isn't the best to use and I'll explain why to that as well being a Mystery Method student and having done this over a year now.

The idea of the Mystery Method is "Indirect Openers." You already know this part. When you open with what you used you are #1 conveying interest immediately and #2 asking a girl you know nothing about to qualify to you. Any HB8+ is going to give you shit like this, and you created it for yourself.

We have no idea if the girl is available because we haven't transitioned to A2 with "So, how does everyone know each other?" We don't even know if this girl is interested in us, because we haven't got to A2 Female to Male Interest yet to look for IOIs. However, with this opener you are immediately showing you are interested and assuming she is, and yet again assuming she will answer this question and jump through your hoop. Hot girls are going to have fun with this all day long giving you shit back.

My suggestion is to choose another opener that does not convey immediate interest, and is indirect. Then follow the Mystery Method from there, it does work, I promise!

If you prefer direct openers there are other methods that work better with this beside Mystery Method.

Sorry about the rant, and I hope it helps! To answer your question if you respond to her now you are jumping through her hoop. You can either ignore it and put up a new hoop, or you can move on.

I'm not sure if I was clear enough here. I opened with this line, online. "Plenty of Fish" website, so she's obviously looking for someone romantically. Not only that, her profile field was pretty much blank or said something like "I can't convey my personality in 3 sentences" and then had 2 hot pictures up. She also wrote that she was a bartender and was on over 350 members "favorite" list. So in some fashion, it did work because it got me a response.

Does that change your opinion on this matter at all?

I'm not sure how to counter that kind of response but I generally found that kind of open more effective on women who actually had more going on than just their looks, ie wanted to be taken more seriously. Going by her response and the nature of her profile, I have to wonder if thats really the case here and thus perhaps as in outside game a more indirect opener would have been better to get under her radar. like tailor open based on information presented.

I was pretty sure it was a shit test from your first post, but with this info it is most definitely a shit test. As I bet she gets a ton of messages from guys, more than the average amount girls get from those online dating sites. With the majority of them containing sexual comments.

As far as countering her shit test. I would respond back saying something like:

"Are you always this nice when it comes to meeting guys? I was just wondering if there was more to you than your attractive looks. Maybe I should read your profile instead?"
