Ok, I was browsing through the "friends" of some hb8 I like (ironically) on myspace when I came across this chick that looked familiar so I checked out her pics, but when I did I saw that she was a hb10+! A complete knockout and you can tell by some of her pics that she has been in beauty pagents as well as modeled and she is as hot as any woman I've ever seen outside of a Victoria's Secret catalogue and she looks as good as any of them too WITHOUT being airbrushed! So there were all these comments on her pics about how gorgeous she is and what not, so I sent her a short message saying something like "Yeah, you're kind of cute but in a lot of your pics you make that face and it makes you look goofy. Also, I was wondering, do you wear a wig?" My question is did I DHV, or just make myself look stupid?

You didn't really DHV yourself in any way except for that fact that you through a neg. In that sense you are establishing that you are cooler that her and having more social value. That could be considered a DHV.

Typically DHV spikes potray Leader of Men, Protector of Loved Ones, Pre-Selection by women, Willingness to Show Emotion, Risk Taker qualities. There are tons of DHVs in the list out there. You didn't do it actively but you kind of DHV'd passively if that makes sense at all.

I think it sounds like you are judging her, without qualifying except that little 'you're kinda cute' and no emoticons. It's more of rude manners rather than being c&f. But just my opinion

Hey man no problem; I NEED constructive criticism and the opinion of my peers...that is why I'm here. While everyone else was telling her how amazingly gorgeous she is, I was trying to come off as if I wasn't impressed and after what Smooth said I thought I'd add something that showed I was trying to protect my younger brother without regard for myself. I'm new at this so maybe I fucked up. If so I'd like to know how to handle a similar situation in the future though. Thanks bro!
