ive been in myspace for quite a bit and have made lots of friends and used it as an advantage to my game.


but i realized that most of the time I had to talk to someone before they would add me. I would like to know:

How to make my profile interesting.
What to put on my about me.
What to have for photos.
My Comments.


I tend to keep my profiles simple, and slightly mysterious.
If you could check my profile out and see what could be worked on.
That would be great.

Prime location for the "Picture Routine".

Social Pictures! You interacting with guys and girls in your target age range that look like they belong to the same "tribe" as you. ie - whatever image you want to project, make sure it's congruent with your friends in the pictures.

Pics of you DHVing... some of those can be you doing something important or meaningful or artsy, and balance those out with pics of you that are "embarrassing"... which shows your are confident enough to put those out there. (old pics of you as a little kid where you are doing something stupid work great for that)

Also stack in a believable picture of you a friend that is a girl laughing together. I like to pad those with a caption of something that's innocent/goofy.. but could also imply something loosely sexual/flirty.

i did not clearly understand what you meant by the picture routine.
could you clear that up for me? anyone.

just looked using my account and it still seems to be private.

the option is in my account > privacy > profile viewable by ...change to everyone.

cant even add u as a friend to take a look since you've got it set to having to know your name!

The "Picture Routine" was something covered in the Mystery Method.

The real life version was the principal of toting around a photo album, or something similar to use as prop/conversation piece. The photos in the album/prop would display Social Proof. You in fun social settings, you in fun locations/on trips, you doing something meaningful, hanging out with some HBs.

I never really liked the idea of doing that in person... why would i carry around pictures of myself. That particular method wouldn't fit me.

However, the Picture Routine, like everything else in the Mystery Method, or anything else you will read in Forums or Books are great if you can apply the ideals. You can take the principal and apply what you feel will work for you in whatever situation you are in.

Therefore, mysapce/facebook/etc are great arenas where something like a Picture Routine is common nature, and can be used easily.

1. Put up some pictures of yourself that look like YOU DA MACK without seeming try-hard (so don't wear gold chains if you don't wear gold chains in real life lol!)

2. Then do a myspace layout and copy and paste the code. Avoid too much clutter with the background - it's tempting to have a fancy background but too much visual shock will work against you in the end. I prefer dark colors and light-colored letters for contrast - but choose what works for you.

3. Stick a nice music clip in there that's unique (in that not everyone else has it!)

4. Add a few friends (to boost DHV), It helps if they're your real friends but if there's drama or relationship issues leave the love triangles out of your circle.

5. Eat a pizza

6. Eat more pizza

7. Do an advanced search and start messaging some cute chicks.
