I have made four attempts to get a text using two lines.

HB9 +HB7: We had 29 back and fourth facebook messages I used this line

PUA: I have to go to Yorkville to buy a cashmere sweater for a friends birthday. Tell me this, would you rather get a sweater that is a size small or a size big? I dont know her exact size! Text it to me, im probably not going to be on for a while! XXX-XXX-XXXX, oh and I go by ****.

dont exchange so many fb messages. 3 each should be more than enough to get her screenname or #. 5 max. Once you have that im asking whats up and then be like im going to see **move name** tonite, wanna roll with?

Trust me, 29 msgs doese not mean shes into you, agreeing to go the movie is showing interest. its basically all on your looks if youve never met and maybe somewhat on your fbook pix (if your life looks desirable).

i have picked up a few girls on facebook just keeping it simple:

1. friend them
2. wait for them to msg you if not msg them (they uusually ask who are you / why you friended them)
3. say, because i saw you in some pics and thought you were cute (99% of the time its a lie but ive never been called out on the pix =] ) and be like we should hangout sometime whats your sn?
4. if she doesnt respond/wont givfe you it...just face the fact that you two wont be exchanging bodily fluids very soon and move on to the other 10 chicks that you friend =]. if she does give you it, you are basically 4 of 5 times going to chill / get with her. IMO

I tried Whoopie Method and it worked pretty well.

i agree on the Whoopie method...and in addition the 5 message rule is pretty clutch....

i am working on a lass right now using these ideas.....it's gold really!

I found it much easier to get a number in 10 messages or less vs. 29!

Yea, after 10 messages, 90% of the time you're just wasting your time. Move on from the messages, to IM, to the phone as quickly as possible.

New to all this but i got a girl i was private messaging me on facebook to actually start texting me!! Here is how i did it...Not sure of all the lingo but here goes..!!

I opened up really well and we were messaging each other and she was basically all over me (ioi's) I have my number on facebook (its ok i only add my friends) and i i then messaged her something along the lines of..."was that you who text me the other day...you stalker" I didnt actually get a text off anyone but she kept on going back to if i found out who was texting me...anyway couple of days later i told her i was going to take my number off facebook so she had a couple of days to get my number and "build up the courage" to text me....she did and im going on from there!

Worked for me but im geussing it may just be a one off!!
