I've read several opinions/studies online that show that women find men who take selfies less attractive than men who have natural pictures (someone else took it for them; especially if they're outside). What's your opinion? Why do women dislike guys who take selfies?

My theory is it makes them look vain and narcisitic.

What does taking a selfie say about you being a valueable male? Nothing. It's that simple. Women generally don't really care much about looks! They want someone valuable!

As a male you need to show you have a lot of friends, supportive family and go out have fun!! Every imp on the planet can take a photo of themselves but not every imp has friends, a good job, education, family, and knows how to have fun!

I think these are good examples of selfies and non selfies. Then there's the creepy selfies where the guy is just looking into mirror with blank face. I've been looking a lot on POF (not signed in) at other profiles trying to get some ideas for my own photos.

Girls like to know a guy is social and has friends, most selfies come across as creepy guy with no friends. If you don't have a friend to take a picture use a tripod. As for acceptable selfies, selfie with something interesting in the background (i.e.: the friends behind you)... Adventure pics are only good if your face is visible or else a girl may thing you just put up some picture you found.

High quality pictures are essential, use google to get an idea of what a good picture & bad picture are when it comes to quality.
