Been chatting to this girl I met at some dating site, got her number. On her profile she also had her instagram.

Now recently she posted something and it turns out she has a boyfriend. Should I address this and ask her about it? I hate time wasters

She told you she had a boyfriend, or you stalked her and found out?

Cause... she's on a dating site you know... She probably doesn't actually have a boyfriend.
