So I'm talking to this attractive girl online via fb chat. We never met before, but we're in the same area. Long story short the conversation is becoming dead she's responding slower at this point I want to close it with a date and if I can bypass it and go all the way that would be even better

Well below is where we last left the conversation any ideas what I can say to regain her interest and go out?

Me: "Random question but how tall are you"
Her: "I'm 5'9"
Her: "Why lol"
Me: "Im trying to see if your the perfect height for me thats why lol"
Me: "I think I seen you before but I know we never spoke"
Her: "Hmm idk lol"
Her: "Its possible we're in a small county"
Me: "THats pretty tall"
Me: "One of my exs was tall when she wore stilletos it made me feel short lol but I still looked good though"
Her: "That was random lol"
Me: "Well I did say I had a random question lol"
Her: "I see lol"

That's where I'm stuck I know I did a lot of randomly feel free to critique I got tough skin, but it would be great if you can give me an idea on how to get the ball rolling. We've been chatting for a lot longer than this but im just giving you an idea of where we are at now.

There is definitely better ways I typically game at the bar or at a party, but this ended up happening and for whatever reason I can't think of anything interesting to say.

I was able to spark up the conversation again with what you said trying to build commonality in this case we went to the same university, but shes a high 9 its going to take a lot for me to convince her to go out especially since I don't have a lot of pictures posted on my profile. (I'm not ugly im in great shape just not photogenic)

This was a low yield prospect from the start. She was giving you two word answers and had no compliance. Ive learned that these type of online interactions are a waste of my time. I only know one way to escalate these things and even that normally wont work.

The main thing is I think you are looking at this whole thing incorrectly. You are judging her reactions from your male frame of reference. If a man is talking online he is interested, bad new, this isn't true for woman. Woman will chat, waste your time, babel on with inane incessant prattle as long as it's providing them some entertainment which may be in no way sexual or related to any attraction she has for you. Soemtimes it feeds their ego just to reject guys and get their attention.

I prefer to meet girls outside, just my opinion

So I took her out on a date and I felt I escalated properly (kissed, held hands, etc) and after the date I texted her that it was truly worth the trip. She replied back the next day in the afternoon which I didn't really care to much about but after a while she stopped texting back.

I wanted to pull that night, but I live 40 minutes away I couldn't come up with a valid excuse to do it. You think she basically used me for a free meal?
