So I'm casually browsing some profiles and I stumbled across this girl who I happened to have had a few classes with in grad school. We both graduated about a year ago. We never talked or anything but I'd imagine she might remember who I am, if only a little bit. Anyway, what's the protocol on initiating contact with her? Should I bring up the fact that we had class together right from the start? And how fast should I move to get a date set up with her considering she's at least seen me in person before and knows that I'm not some fat liar or a catfish or anything like that.

"Hey XXXX,

You just popped up on my screen and I remember you from XXXX class. I always thought you were adorable and would love to grab a drink and learn more about you. Are you around the next couple weeks? Let's meet up."
